Description
Gobhi Parantha is a wonderful and popular North Indian bread made of fiery cauliflower. It’s made from whole wheat dough and a mix of finely grated cauliflower, green the chillies, coriander, carom seeds, and aromatic spices. The stuffing is carefully placed onto the rolled-out dough, sealed, and then folded twice into a round parantha. It is fried with butter or honey on a hot tawa (griddle) until crisp and golden brown. Particularly in Punjabi houses, it is a favourite breakfast or lunch food owing to its flavourful stuffing and crispy, flaky layers. Fresh curd, butter, or pickle often goes well with gobhi parantha to amp up the taste. With its high fibre content and required nutrients, it is a filling and healthy lunch. Adults and children alike like it, and it’s great for any time of day.
